Hebrews 2:14-15 magnifies the power of the cross of Christ. Our position is seated with Christ. Because of this, we can possess by faith a freedom from the fear and onslaught of death. This is possible in this mortal flesh, in this earthen vessel. This is not something that can be obtained but received as we join in Christ’s death that we might be made the resurrection of Christ Jesus.
