Hebrews 2:14 states this, “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil…” Jesus took on all manners of “death” that tries to destroy you. Any thing that sets itself against the knowledge of Christ is subject to you. Even the fear of death or the bondage of dread is defeated by Christ’s death. Christ Jesus wants to deliver us from lifetime bondages. Any “death” that is deeply rooted in your life has been put to death because of Christ’s death.
